The whole week I helped moving. 4 levels up, 4 levels down, and so many boxes and so much furniture coming out of from such a small apartment. I'm exhausted. Of course there is no elevator.

I have a pair of broken and dirty headphones and I think to reuse the drivers and 3d print my own headphones. I need to model it first obviously and I need to find new cushions covers as the old ones are nasty.

@scribus Tire fenders are practically standard here as well as half-enclosed chain guards. Also a rack is basically standard, except for mountain and racing bikes. I just looked up and I found some after-market fully-enclosed chain guards. Only "Holland bikes" have the fully-enclosed bike chain guard out of the box. I guess I never put that much attention to that feature.

Lubing my bike chains was a success. Cycling feels a little bit more smoother now. I think I have a little bit less resistance so I could cycle with one higher gear than usual with the same force. Maybe my brain tricks me thinking that. At least the gunk is scrubbed off. I wonder why there are no more bike chain covers that attempt to fully enclose the chain.

Today I cleaned and lubricated my bike chains. Oh boy they were filthy dirty. Basically black from all the accumulated filth. It took me two hours to clean two bikes from top to bottom.

I think I've dodged the bullet. The seller of the sewing machine wanted to meet at the train station. I noped out very hard. I don't want to waste 20 eurobucks at a place where I can't test it. I lied that I found a better offer... Well... Not much of a lie when the refusal is a better offer.

Welp... I have now 3 bikes. The newest addition is a folding bike. I got a used one for 120€ in a pretty good condition. I only have to add a dynamo and lights. The bell works but it is very prone of ringing by itself on a bumpy road, so I get a new one.

I'm thinking about getting a folding bike whenever I have to go to the office again. One I picked out is a Brompton folding bike because it has a very nifty way to fold it very compact. However it is immensely expensive in comparison to other folding bikes. Even used and older ones are not very far away from the price of a new one.

@scribus WTF if true. In the United States of Gunmerica this sounds more likely than in any other part of the world. The neglect of safety measures around guns is baffling beyond reason.

"Inside Job" is trying hard. I like the premise and such but it is trying very hard to be edgy and it makes the series less appealing. Over all not bad but those little moments make me say "Really?!?".
