  2. @yodelerty you will never be rid of me

  3. @yodelerty well I'm still your friend.

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 05:16:49 UTC from web in context
  4. @yodelerty because you love me in a strictly platonic. way.

  5. Seriously, Whenever I play a sonic game, whether its Adventure Battle 2 or the first few, I end up hitting a wall somewhere and ditz about feeling like I'm being ripped off because where's the fast when I keep hitting walls? I wanna go fast, not platform.

  6. I mean I've played it, but never for enough to get past the learning stage of "AAAAA TOOO FAST WAT DO WAT DO AAAA NOW I'VE HIT A WALL AND I'M NOT GOING FAST ENOUGH TO GO ANYWHERE AAAAAAAA" I usually rage quit quite soon after that.

  7. @redenchilada I need to build up a larger collection of systems. I mean all my Nintendo stuff is nice and all, but I've never really sat down and played Sonic, like, ever. My childhood was so deprived.

  8. @redenchilada oh if only. i would say I should put a Dreamcast in there, but let's be honest, the Dreamcast should just stay as it is. I wish I had one...

  9. @redenchilada or, even better, a Saturn. Then I can giggle at my own stupidity.

  10. @yodelerty *throws water*

  11. @redenchilada ooo now there's an idea.

  12. @scribus but yeah, the most likely course of action is cleaning, then painting. If it turns out really well, I might transfer the working parts back into their original home and use the pretty PS1 as my main gamer, then display the pristine case somewhere because its pretty in a different way.

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 04:52:36 UTC from web in context
  13. @techdisk (ps3 because it still has the backward ccompatibility with the PS1)

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 04:50:03 UTC from web in context
  14. @thewaifutyphoon but that's so boring. The Pi is so small it would just fit in there and rattle around. Might as well just use the case i have that's designed for it and keeps it much safer.

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 04:49:20 UTC from web in context
  15. @scribus if only I could find a way to shove a PS3 into a PS1... now THAT would be sweet.

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 04:48:02 UTC from web in context
  16. @scribus to be honest, i'm probably going to do a huge cleanup job of the toilet ps1 and then paint it all pretty with ponies. It still won't work, but it will be nice to look at, i guess.

Saturday, 14-Jun-14 04:45:49 UTC from web in context
  17. @scribus ehh, maybe. What I really did was gut it and put the broken PS1 into it. The reason was simple: I already had the dead PS1 beforehand, but it was contained inside an absolutely /pristine/ case. The one that works perfectly looks like it was left in a toilet overnight. I swapped the main boards so the outside matched the inside. And now i have a pristine condition PlayStation sitting on my shelf beside a SNES.

  18. Welp. I now have 3 PlayStations. One doesn't work, one was modchipped when I bought it and works perfectly in all aspects, and one really only works as an audio CD player. Which, frankly, it is very good at. All in all, I have a PlayStation in my basement for games, and one in my bedroom for music. And one sitting in a corner gathering dust because it dun borked.

  22. @thisisntgonnabegood I should download that. I just bought a chipped PS1 that would play the burned game...
