@scribus Gen 5 is when I gave up on Pokemon for a while. Just got tired of the grinding and how many eggs I had to hatch to stay competitive with my friends.

@tonyyotes @scribus due to my work, pokemon does not really go out of sytle, ever ( neither do cartoons, if I am lucky they involve colourfull equines, yay.flac ). But due to the nature of most autists I would be either WAY under- or over-"grinded". And due to the gamesindustry now releasing games in a record pace, I did not even need to finish pre-grind (up till elite 4) of "X" nor "Omega Ruby". Such a waste, almost makes me sad. Then I found out that one of my clients was cheating his butt off. Now that kinda did me in. " What is your favorite pokemon ?" He asked. And next day he would give me one... And then he'd kick my 1^8 IP dreamteam with his 32^8 IP beedrill attack squad. *rolleyes*

I finished the Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan. It looks like Haruhi, sounds like it and very infrequently feels like it, but actually barely resembles it at all and even taunts the viewer with references to the original Haruhi without actually having any of the spirit of the old show. I guess @northernnarwhal was right but I wanted new Haruhi so bad and episodes 9-13 were very old Haruhi so I just went along with it, but the lack of a genuine resolution disappointed me to no end. What a shame. #scootanimereviews

@scoot I generally wasn't too fond of that one while watching it, to me it was just sort of a bland slice of life romcom that happened to take place in the Disappearance universe. The arc of episodes 9-12 is some really incredible stuff, but then it went right back into its bad habits. I'd say give it a shot, but if you go into it expecting the charm and absurdity of Haruhi you'll probably be disappointed. Or at least I was.

@mrmattimation Mansplaining implies couching your objectionable/pro-patriachy statements in PC/non-inflamatory ways. All mansplaining is misogyny, but not all misogyny is mansplaining

@ceruleanspark The ONLY thing about the word "mansplain" that bothers me is the word itself, not the definition. It actually sounds like it was made for satirical purposes.
