Just so you all know, once we transfer to @mrdragon's server and once StatusNet is updated to 1.0.1 !mintrefresh will no longer be maintained as it's functionality is build into the site now thanks to meteord and the great plugin @ponydude is working on!

@scribbs Also it was *really* difficult to remote subscribe to you on ECH x.x finally figured out a way to do it that involved logging out here and then clicking the subscribe button on your page. It did not want to let me do it the easy way of just typing your name into the remote subscription thing over on ECH. This is also how I discovered that for ECH accounts, including the www is required.

@scribbs No no you misunderstand. I said it has it *built-in*. As in, you don't run any scripts (the most recent version of the rdnrefresh script does not support ECH at all, because it doesn't need to).

@minti They don't collect any information that having an amazon account doesn't already give them. You can't exceed the free limits on the micro-tier. It just doesn't work that way.

@lovetolerateandsquee if you have !mintrefresh or is.gd/rdnrefresh, there is a button, by selecting the text and clicking the button it goes all jumbled, along with the script is a key beside each post to read the jumbled stuff

@toksyuryel Mine uses the API, it doesn't fetch the HTML from a page loaded in the background. I'd have to massively update it to be compatible with StatusNet 1.0.1

!coderpony tweaked a couple things including changing the link color to red like in @minti's proposed theme. Next step will be to adjust the position of the input form. I know there are ways, but I don't have the energy to look them up at the moment.

To non-coder !Mintrefresh users reading this, in order to set a custom background for RDN, you would just need to copy the code linked in my dash, open up your Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey settings, double-click "Mint Reresh Alpha", find the code about half-way into the script that matches the beginning of the text in the attachment, and replace the entire matching block (right up until "// Saves all settings") with the copied code in my link. You can change the URL in the attached text to any image URL, but if you want it to tile the image you have to change "no-repeat" to "repeat-y". !Coderpony I couldn't figure out how to make site-specific user stylesheet modifications in Chrome. As far as I can tell no site-specific syntax is recognized in Chrome (unlike Firefox)... I may have missed something in Chrome's inline editor that might let me permanently alter how I view RDN, but I also failed to figure that out. As far as I can tell, the inline editor is not like a user stylesheet in that way since it requires access to the original document to make permanent changes, so... Rather than go to the effort of learning how to create my own Tampermonkey script, etc., I decided to hack @minti's already oh-so cleverly coded !Mintrefresh. My modifications were crude, but effective so I've decided to post the modified function in case anypony is interested in using it. @pony Chrome doesn't have user stylesheets built in. I use Stylish for that.

@crusader8 yeah.. I wouldn't go through the trouble of encoding spoilers if it weren't for !Mintrefresh. It only works on Chrome and Firefox, but it's a huge help on RDN

@purpletinker Guys, I am currently in a funk here. Rainbowdash.net's 1st birthday is approaching (April 4), and it appears that ponies are leaving, and simply not staying with us because this site gets old pretty quick. I am considering options on how to give our site a make over... but I don't know what you guys want in a social networking site for bronies! @ceruleanspark Perhaps you should set up a dedicated ad fund pool. And as the fund keeps growing you keep using the current amount to try bidding on a spot on Derpibooru/etc. DB uses a bid system now a days. Just a food for thought.
